Nominations for the Icelandic Edda Awards were just made public and our film, Legends of Valhalla – Thor was nominated for no less than 6 awards. The categories are the following:

Best director, Óskar Jónasson
Best script: Friðrik Erlingsson
Best editor: Elísabet Rónaldsdóttir
Best visual design: Gunnar Karlsson
Best sound: Patrick Drummond
Best score: Stephen McKeon

We are very excited about these nominations and are very proud of them. Legends of Vlahlala – Thor is not only the first feature length film that CAOZ produces but also the first Icelandic animated full feature film and on top of that it is in  stereoscopic 3d.

The awards ceremony will be held in Reykjavík on February 18th.
